Kevin Banister is Vice President for Business Development with Finavera Renewables. In this capacity, he is responsible for project and policy development for the company's ocean energy projects. He also serves as the president of the Oregon Wave Energy Trust, has been appointed to the Oregon Renewable Energy Working Group and sits on the Oregon Workforce Investment Board. Prior to working with Finavera, Mr. Banister worked in the utility industry in the Pacific Northwest and has experience in rate case proceedings, integrated resource planning and regulatory affairs. He holds an advanced degree in Economic Development from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
