Susan Bladholm is the senior manager of corporate marketing at the Port of Portland. She has spent more than 20 years marketing Oregon. Following her start with Louisiana Pacific she joined the Oregon Economic and
Community Development team where she managed the state's public relations program, hosting domestic and international media crews from around the globe, boasting a 52:1 ROI and served as co-founder of the
state's statewide bicycle ride called Cycle Oregon.
Following stints as director of marketing for Portland at the Portland Oregon Visitors Association (POVA) and launching the Sunstone Marketing agency, (where she represented the state of Oregon, Portland Development Commission, handled the "Keiko the whale" arrival at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, City of Lincoln City, Oregon Lodging Association, as well as many others), she joined the Port of Portland.
Her responsibilities include oversight of a full-service in house team that develops publications, the Port's web site, brand ads and retail promotions at Portland International Airport, and to act as a liaison with other Oregon partners with a vested interest in international trade.
