Ms. Mills is currently Chair of the Council on Jobs, Innovation and the Economy for the state of Maine and is engaged in implementing the competitiveness strategy for the Maine economy. These activities draw from Ms. MillsŐ 25 year career in venture capital and private equity where she helped grow over 20 companies. Ms Mills was a co-founder of Solera Capital, is the lead director of Scotts Miracle-Gro, and a director of Arrow Electronics and Oxygen Media. She has been Vice Chair of the Harvard Overseers and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Ms. Mills has an A.B. in economics from Harvard University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
