Glenn Montgomery is the Sustainable Development Liaison for the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department (OECDD), a state agency that supports the Governor of Oregon's economic development agenda through business retention, expansion and recruitment. Since 2004, Mr. Montgomery has worked with diverse stakeholder groups in the public and private sectors to promote initiatives that produce economic, environmental and social benefits. Much of his time is devoted to the green development and renewable energy industries where sustainability is a clear economic driver for Oregon and the Pacific Northwest region. In addition to his work in state government, Mr. Montgomery has over 16 years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors as an information technology consultant with a focus on supply chain management and business process re-engineering, and as a manager for various non-governmental organizations.
