Salmonpeople Tour, a sensational one-man play touring Salmon Nation, describes the character of the Pacific Northwest through its historical currency: salmon. SALMONPEOPLE is being presented to the Competitiveness Institute and its members as a narrative example of economic development clustering around shared resources.

At the same time, The Natural Step, an organization focused on teaching businesses the principles of sustainability, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and using the performance of SALMONPEOPLE to help tell its story.

The event sponsor, ShoreBank Pacific, is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a financier of sustainable businesses, and uses the touring production of SALMONPEOPLE and the concept of Salmon Nation as exemplars of sustainable economic thinking.
