Madeline Smith is Manager of Industries Intelligence for Scottish Enterprise, Scotland's main economic development agency. Working as part of the Priority Industries Division her role focuses on policy, strategy and evaluation, including sharing best practice across the clusters. Madeline joined Scottish Enterprise six years ago, initially to manage one of the regional "Business Gateway" services. Her previous experience was in manufacturing, strategy and logistics in the drinks industry, having originally trained as a master brewer.
